Steve Wright and Colenels Stormy Lynx Steve has been training horses for over 20 years. He has worked with many talented individuals including the great Tom Dorrance. His disciplines have included halter, endurance, reining, cutting, roping and working cow horse.

Dylan Meyer and Ill Be Street Smart Dylan is back at the ranch after completing an aprenticeship with NCHA and PCCHA hall of famer David McGregor. He is training full time at our facility with Steve Wright. He just completed the first show season of his young career in which he and his students enjoyed much success.

Joline and Louie Joline is Steve's wife and the backbone of our ranch. She is the Spa director at the Wine and Roses Resort in Lodi. She, like the rest of the Wright Ranch crew, works tirelessly to help support our growing facility.

Ashley Thomas and Wyammy Special Ashley is our self-proclaimed barn bum. She is our official photographer and is always ready to lend a helping hand. She is an extremely dedicated student and is reaping the benifits. Ashley started from scratch with her horse Lola, and just won her first check in a two-handed cutting class!

Morgan Hirschel and Mikey Morgan rode her first cutting horse last spring and has proven to be a quick learner. This year she placed 3rd in the Sr. Youth at the Clements Cutting Club. Morgan has become a familiar face at the Wright Ranch, is a joy to work with, and an eager student.

Alice O'Connor and Flo Alice has developed a high quality warmblood breeding program. We have been training her horses for over four years. Alice appreciates the need for good foundation and well rounded development in her warmbloods before going on to the dressage barn. We put special emphasis on getting her babies out on the trail and letting them be horses so when they move on in their careers they will be physically and mentally ready to accept a more rigorous training program.

Kay Woodroof and her babies Kay breeds performance horses in Corning California. We have had the honor of training her horses this past year. We have found Kay to be a very warm-hearted person and her horses to be very talented. Many of the cow horrses that we have posted for sale belong to her. We are eternally greatful for the amount of trust she has put in our young cutting program.

Rafael and Rusty Rafael is a crucial part of our program. He keeps our barn immaculate, and our program running smoothly. His kindness, work ethic, resiliance, patience, and hospitality make him not just a priceless employee but also a part of our family.
